My cousin arrived!

I´m very very very excited, because my cousin from Finland arrived yesterday. Anna has been my best friend and my best cousin for years. So it was kind of touching to meet her after few years. This trip is Annas first trip to Australia, so she was really excited, too. It was a little weird to meet her again. But I´m extremely happy she is here.

Right away when she arrived we went to the Bondi. It was lovely learn to know Anna again. Even if she is the same old Anna, I wanted to know everything about her new stuffs and Finland. We talked a long long time, and laughed and remembered the past. For example when all my friends made lovely farewell party to me just before flying here. It was really nice! :)

And something not so nice happened. Anna hasn´t ever been a very good swimmer, but although we went to swim. And of course some kind of current took her and moved to the open sea. It wasn´t very bad situation, but still scary. I know that I have to swim gently straight on the shore and i did it. Somehow I was able to swim enough close to beach. But Anna didn´t know how to do. Luckily she was calm and knew to wave her arm. One of those handsome lifeguards rescued her with some kind of surfboard. It was so cool! It wasn´t the first time that I have seen them at work, but always so amazing. I really respect them. The save peoples life!

Anna was a little bit frightened so we decided to went home. Luckily she was already able to smile at evening :) She said she doesn´t mind about the situation but she is going to be more careful while swimming.

Pitiful, rainy day.

Yesterday I and my friend Ashley planned to go to the beach today. But we didn´t do it ´cause it was raining too hard. We are not made of sugar, of course, but still..who woulg go to the beach when it is raining? No one. Except lifeguards.
It was irritating. Always have take into account the weather.

So we went to the Leichhardt marketplace (with brollies of course) and bought few liters of cherries. I love cherries! Especially fresh cherries when they´re just picked up. Yummu for my tummy :) We sat down for a short while under a big, dense tree and ate these berries slowly and feasting. Then I suddenly fancied a coffee. We went to nearest cafée, I ordered my coffee and took my wallet. But.. I didn´t have enough money! :D It was SO embarrassing! Yeah, no money, no funny! :)

The rest of the day I spent at Ashleys home. We had very fun time there!

Surfing..? Or not.

Well, well..
Today I was working. There wasn´t plenty of people. Just only few customer visited us. So my employer let me to go home.
 He´s nice and fair guy!


My bigbrother decided to give me some surf lessons ´cause the waves were " tosi cooleja " (absolutely cool in English :D ) But I can´t surf at all. It was funny thought I can´t do it. He has given couple surf lessons to me but still he almost always lose his nerves to me. He definitely isn´t patient with me :D Whatever.. as long as I learn something.
Yep. It was funny. Very funny as I said.
Bondi Beach isn´t good place to learn surfing, I think so. It´s way too challenging beach to us beginners.

In the evening I read one of Nora Roberts books. I just sat on the rock bear by my home. It was lovely! I really really love reading!

A little holiday in Brisbane.

I haven´t written for three or four days just because I was spending my holiday in Brisbane.
It was my first time there. And I liked it very much. Quite noisy town, as Sydney is, but still. It was maybe the only minus about it.


The weather was enough hot, not too cold. The most of the time we were outside, and walked around shopping. There´s a lot of lovely little cafées in Brisbane, almost everyday we went to some of them. And the food. It was really really delicious! Especially a dessert called pavlova was very very tasty ( pavlova is Russian word, isn´t it? ) . It was like some kind of candy, I think so.


My mom wanted to go to the museums, but other family didn´t want to do it, so we decided to go to places that our kids like. For example we took the bus and went to the Gabba Cricket Ground.. my father was just over excited but I wasnt. I don't mind cricket :)


Dreamworld was great place to my little siblings. And to me. Okay.. I can admit I really liked to be there! No one is ever too old! You know that phrase " When child is playing child is healthy. But if child can´t stop playing child is sick", don´t you? Hehh, so..


By the way shopping at the Queen Street Mall was nice also. I found some very cheap clothes from there. And they were quality clothes. There´s not very much places that sell you cheap and quality clothes. So I was lucky.


We returned to home today at 18:00 pm or something. Home, sweet home!


After all it was really nice trip to Brisbane and I´m sure I will travel there in the future. Still in my opinion Sydney is better than Brisbane :)


Yeah, I´m very tired and I probably go to bed. So good night (to me).

Having fun at the beach.

Today I have been at the beach, enjoying lovely sun, taking photos and just reading a book.

I hadn't work today. I was just laying on the beach, and I read a book called Kaukainen Unelma (Daring to Dream in English) by Nora Roberts. I love her books! And I also had a camera with me.

The weather wasn´t very warm, but sun was beautiful. When the sunset time came I walked in the water just enjoying it. There wasn´t a lot of people so I was almost alone.


It was kinda relaxing to be at the Bondi!

Uuum.. what would I write..

Well, what I have done today?
For example something quite stirring happened to me. Very early at this morning I took my sneakers, and left to run (nearly everyday when I have time I run). During my round I met some very special woman.

I turned the road which goes alongside the Bondi Beach.
She was sitting on the bench and adoring the beautiful sun which was rising up behind the ocean. She looked a little bit sad so I asked her " Are you okay"? ( In fact I usually don't talk with strangers, but this woman.. I don´know, I just had to ask).
But she convinced she is. Then she said "Actually I am not."

And she told me something what just put me to think my life and this world. Yesterday her doctor told her that she´s getting a deadly cancer. She told me she has a little girl and she has divorced with her husband few months ago.

I was terrified, how come this can be possible? But still this woman was happy. She was content to her life, and wanted to live as best life as she can.

This stopped me and all the way to home I thought my own life. What will I do if someday I get a cancer? Or some very bad illness?
I wish this woman will live as long as she can!

And then something which isn't so sad.
At the moment I´m working in café. I like to work there. Wage is enough to me, other workers are such nice and climate is good. I don't do very big things there, I´m a new worker so I just clean.

Today we had a busy day because there are a lot of vacationers here. And lots of people has come to the popular Bondi Beach. So I hadn´t very much time to relax.

After work I went to home and straight to computer :D I´m hooked to my lovely computer, I can´t even think about the life without it! And here I still am.. writing to my new blog.

These were my thoughts of this day.
